Use of the site
The site and its content are provided for informational purposes. You agree to use the site lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use automated tools to extract content at scale.
That means ordinary reading, sharing, and quoting with a link back are all fine. It does not mean scraping whole pages, probing login areas that are not yours, or running scripts that slow the site down for everyone else.
No professional advice
Content on this site, including articles and case study descriptions, is general information about professional services positioning. It is not legal, financial, or professional advice for your specific situation, and it does not create a client relationship. A consulting relationship begins only under a separate written agreement.
Case study descriptions describe what a project looked like and which decisions were involved. They are not instructions to copy for your own business, and they are not a promise that a similar approach will produce a similar result for you.
Consultation requests
Submitting the consultation form is a request for contact, not a binding agreement. Engagement terms, scope, and fees are set out in a separate written document provided after the intake call.
Until that document is signed, neither side is committed to the work. You can prepare for the intake call by noting what you are trying to change, who will be involved on your side, and any deadline already on your calendar.
Intellectual property
Text, structure, and other content on this site are owned by Umetrion Digital unless otherwise noted. You may view and share links to the site. You may not reproduce substantial portions of the content for commercial use without written permission.
If you want to quote a section in a presentation or an article, ask first and we will usually say yes, provided the quote is attributed and not presented as your own material.
Third-party references
This site may reference third-party platforms, tools, or professional associations for informational purposes. Those references do not imply endorsement, partnership, or affiliation unless expressly stated. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that provider's terms.
When a page mentions a tool or a method, it is because it came up in the work, not because we are recommending it over another option. Check the vendor's own documentation before you rely on it.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, Umetrion Digital is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or reliance on its content.
This clause sits alongside whatever is agreed for a signed engagement. It does not reduce the obligations written into that separate agreement.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is posted on this page. Continued use of the site after changes indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
If a change is material, we will note the date it took effect at the top of the page so returning visitors can see that something moved.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Umetrion Digital operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
